A little bit about our chef…
AMA’s chef and co-owner Pat Trama, a native New Yorker, grew up in a family of restaurateurs. From his earliest days of helping out at his parents’ eatery and cooking with his grandparents, to the present, Pat has always had a love of food and cooking. At the age of 17, Charlie Palmer offered Pat a job at “the breeding ground of great chefs”, the River Café in Brooklyn. He has also worked with some of the world’s finest chefs and restaurateurs in his journey, including Drew Nieporent. Trama now brings his experience and love for cooking to the Atlantic Highlands.
